With great excitement, I write this letter of introduction to you as the Principal of Maxfield Elementary School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support the students and families.

I have worked at Gorman ISD for 23 years in various positions ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade in multiple teaching roles. As well as at the high school level in administration. I am thrilled to bring my skills as an educational leader to Maxfield Elementary School and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.

On a personal note, my husband and I have lived in the Gorman area together for 32 years. He was a graduate of Gorman and currently is the owner and Broker of Texas Wide Realty. He also has owned and operated a tree farm for over 30 years. I have two precious daughters. Rachel is currently attending Tarleton State University. Michelle who is attending Texas Tech University.

Most importantly, I bring a belief that students are at the center of all school-related decisions. I am excited to unite my experience, openness to learning, and child-centered approach to support our students. Because the relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, I encourage you to become involved in every way possible.
